Music Monday: “Miracle” by KING + COUNTRY

Anyone who has been following me for a while knows I sometimes highlight disability ministries that aim to educate about disabilities, offer resources, and confront stereotypes. These ministries were founded out of necessity or because their leaders were personally affected by this disability. A prime example is Nick Vujicic, whose ministry spans numerous areas, including gospel outreach and anti-bullying campaigns. Born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare condition marked by the absence of all four limbs, he once believed that God would reveal His supreme power by eventually healing him.
Years later, his perspective has changed. At present, he feels his story has been used by God to open doors that would have remained closed. Why? Because people can relate to him on many levels—whether by feeling unloved, being bullied, or simply feeling helpless. So far, his ministry has reached 946 million people digitally, 11 million face-to-face, and has seen 1.5 million begin a relationship with Jesus Christ across 87 countries. On the Nick V ministries website, he says: “If God can use a man without arms and legs to be His hands and feet, then He will certainly use any willing heart.”
The latest documentary he has created, called “No Limbs, No Limits,” tells the story of his childhood with a disability, emphasising his parents’ approach to his diagnosis and Nick’s fight with self-esteem. For King + Country’s “Miracle” aligns perfectly with the documentary’s soundtrack because it reminds us that God can work through anyone to show His purpose. As believers in Christ, we understand this to be true. Romans 828 says: ” And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. ”
Over the last few weeks, it’s been hard to hold onto this hope, even though I know there’s a purpose in the pain—whether it’s meant to teach me something, help me rely on Him more, or is simply something I won’t understand in my lifetime.
