My name is Debbie. I am a 41-year-old with big dreams and hopes for the future. I hope to use my knowledge and communication skills to inspire others to pursue their dreams, no matter what. I am blessed to be living in a country where opportunities are endless; but sometimes, as a disabled person, society puts limitations on us. I am here to push past the stereotypes and allow people to see me as the unique individual that I am.
My Message to Parents
All children are a gift from God- no matter what kind of disability they may have. Growing up, it’s important that as your children grow up, they are given every opportunity to become independent and self-sufficient citizens. To that end, don’t be afraid to advocate for your children. Please give them a voice until they can find their own voice.
My Hope for this Website
My hope for this website is that by hearing my story and reading my blogs it encourages other people to look for God in even the toughest of circumstances.
